MISSION STATEMENT

The Benishangul Human Rights Foundation stands for equality, freedom and justice for Ethiopians in the Benishangul Regional State.  By fighting for the rights of the Benishangul people, our intention is for this same effort to resonate throughout all regions of Ethiopia where being opressed by the EPRDF/Meles Zenawi regime, has become a way of life for non-party members, supporters and or sympathizers.

Simply, the self professed elite Eritrean led government, the EPRDF formerly known as TPLF, has to go.  We  urge all Ethiopians from the different ethnic groups who are currently either being misguided by the EPRDF, or collaborating in the current governmant’s activities out of self interest, to wake up and join our efforts to expose the crimes against humanity this regme has been committing and subjugating Ethiopians with, across all regions of the country.
